Track your load in real time
Every load is followed between the depot gate and discharge, and its position can be checked directly.
At Fields Energy, every load travels on a GPS-tracked tanker, monitored around the clock. The position of a load can be checked at any point in transit.
The same record covers arrival time, standing time and the route taken, and a question about any of them is answered from it.
Alerts in transit
Monitoring is set up to catch a problem while the vehicle is still moving and to report it at once.
Where a vehicle leaves its planned route, an alert is raised while the load is still on the road.
Unplanned stops, long standing times and out-of-hours movement are all recorded automatically.
When a load reaches site, arrival is confirmed against the delivery note, so both records agree.
The record for any load is available on request.
What the record shows
Four points are logged automatically on every load.
Dispatch
The vehicle and driver carrying a load are recorded as it leaves the depot.
Route
Its position updates continuously against the planned route, so an alert reaches us while the load can still be redirected.
Arrival
Arrival at site is time-stamped automatically.
Signature
The volume received is signed for, and any difference from what was dispatched is investigated.
Keep loads on track
An alert is raised while there is still time to act.
A wrong turn or an over-long stop is reported to the site team at once, while the load is still in transit.
A monthly check would surface the same problem only after the fuel had gone, so every load is monitored throughout.
