Fields Energy Zambia Limited of Ndola, Zambia is the controller for personal data collected through this website.
This notice sets out what is collected, why it is used, who it is shared with, and what a reader may ask for. It is written to meet Zambian data protection law.

2. Data collected through this website
2.1. Contact routes
This website carries no form. Its contact routes are email addresses. Where a reader writes to Fields Energy, the message is received together with whatever it contains, which is usually the sender’s name, their email address and the details they give about a site or an enquiry.
2.2. Analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare states that it does not use client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage, to collect usage metrics, that it does not fingerprint individuals, and that it does not collect visitors’ personal data. It counts page views in aggregate and does not identify an individual reader.
2.3. What is not collected
This website does not seek special category data. No profile is built for advertising, and personal data is not sold.
2.4. Why it is used
Details sent by email are used to answer the enquiry, to quote for supply, and to open and run an account where one follows. Analytics are used to understand which pages are read.

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides its analytics. Email written to Fields Energy is received through Microsoft 365. No other provider receives personal data collected through this website.
3.2. How long it is kept
Correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed for the enquiry or the account it relates to, and for as long as a legal or regulatory requirement applies to it.
3.3. Access and correction
A reader may ask what personal data is held about them, and may ask for data that is wrong or incomplete to be corrected.
3.4. Deletion and objection
A reader may ask for personal data to be deleted where no requirement to keep it continues to apply, and may object to its use.
